1. Bencooleen Hotel
Location: Bencoolen Street, near Bugis.
Plus: Great location [near to Bugis MRT (as well as Bugis Streets and shopping malls), near Dhoby Ghaut MRT], open-air jacuzzi, gym.
Minus: No porter service, not so clean.
Price range: $90-$250






2. Fragrance Hotel
Location: Various places in Singapore.
Plus: Cheap, most hotels are easy to reach (near MRT stations and bus stops), friendly staffs.
Minus: Certain hotels have small rooms, not so clean, no porters.
Price range: $30-$150 (depends on the hotel location)

3. Royal Peacock Hotel
Location: 5-minutes from Shenton Way, near Outram Park MRT and the Central Business District.
Plus: Good location, next to 24hrs convenience store, relatively cheap, friendly staffs, high speed internet access.
Minus: Cramped rooms, noisy at the ground floor, old building.
Price range: $135-200 ++

4. Gateway Hotel
Location: Joo Chiat Rd.
Plus: Near McDonald's and 7-11 (convenient store), cheap, friendly staffs.
Minus: Far from MRT stations, not so clean, small rooms.
Price range: $68-230 ++










5. Happy Hotel
Location: Geylang.
Plus: Newly renovated, cheap, very clean, friendly staffs, many food stalls around.
Minus: Price not including breakfast.
Price range: $60-70.
