20 Years of Animation: PIXAR Singapore

What is it about?
It is an international exhibition that takes its visitors behind the scences of how PIXAR loveable characters were being born. It also features 300 sketches, paintings, sculptures and storyboards.

When?
2 April all the way to 27 June 2010
The exhibition opens from 10am to 6pm (closed on Mondays except school and public holidays).

Where?
The Annexe, Science Centre Singapore, Jurong East.

How to get there and how much are the tickets?
The nearest MRT station is Jurong East. Busses that stop nearby are buses number 66, 178, 198, 335

Ticket Prices:
Early Bird Discount
$16 for adults, $11 for children (3-16 years), includes admission to Science Centre
Members: $12 adults, $8 children (3-16 years)
Normal Prices
$20 for adults, $15 for children (3-16 years), exhibition only
$21 for adults, $16 for children (3-16 years), includes admission to Science Centre
Family Package - 2A and 2C (3 -16 years) - $60, exhibition only
Tickets can be bought on the spot.

Why should you be excited for the exhibition:
Claimed to be the world's largest animation exhibition, it is costing S$1.5 million and the only such exhibition in Southeast Asia. A 3D movie theatre also has been especially brought to the exhibition for the visitor to enjoy the PIXAR animations.
